“I’d like a book reviewed…”

First of all, let us say, “We’re Delighted!” We cannot promise all books submitted for review will be chosen by a reviewer on our team, but we welcome your submission. We’re all about good books and reviews will be at the heart of Historical Romance Magazine.

Books by advertising authors will be given priority, but you don’t have to advertise with us to be considered. Please be sure your story is properly edited, proofed and has a professional-looking cover.

Please send an image of your cover, and give us a blurb and the heat level as well as sub-genre tags or tropes/triggers that will help us find the right reader/reviewer for your book.

Email to: contact@historicalromancemagazine.com with subject line: “I’d like a book reviewed” and we will match your emailed blurb, tags, and heat level with your completed form.

CHECK LIST

If you haven’t already done so, email: contact@historicalromancemagazine.com with the following about your book:

Title, short blurb/story description

Formats available for review

Release Date and Publisher Information

Please note that some reviewers will prefer e-book copies and some will want print only. If a reviewer requests a print/paper version, you, the author or publisher, will be responsible for mailing the book at your own expense to the reviewer. We’ll give you more details on how to do this in our follow up email when your ARC is ready and we have a reviewer lined up. We promise.

If your review copy is not sent to the reviewer in a timely manner, HRM is not responsible for its omission from the magazine.

You must be subscribed to the HRM newsletter list to be considered. Please be sure you’re receiving mail from us. Also, if you want to hear back, be sure you add us to your contacts list or check your promotions or spam folders regularly.

Thanks again for your submission for review!

Kind regards,

Charlotte and Renee
